We recently looked at the topic of eternal life in hell, now let's take a brief look at the topic of heaven.
First let me say, that there is a reward for the saved, and it is greater than we can even imagine. ICorinthians 2:9 "But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God."
God willing, we will talk more about that reward in another article. Right now, let's simply get our groundwork straightened out.
Orthodox Christianity teaches that if we are saved, when we die we will go to heaven right away. Are you being taught with accuracy?
It might be what we think we'd like to hear,,, but the truth is,, that the doctrine of Orthodox Christianity, which teaches going to heaven at death, is not accurate.
No we are not going to heaven when we die, saved or not.
It boils down to a simple question,,, Whom are you going to believe,, your minister or Jesus Christ Himself?
The words of Christ follow, taken from John 3:13 "And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but He that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven."
That means that Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and King David had not ascended into heaven at that time. I guess we could go around our elbows to get to our thumbs in order to explain that verse away,,,, but the truth is simple.. And the truth is comforting.
Please keep checking here at your Partners-in-Prayer website to learn more. For now, lets realize and accept the simple truth that the doctrine of heaven as taught by Orthodox Christianity is incorrect and inaccurate.
Orthodox Christianity's doctrine of an ever-burning hell-fire is untrue, as shown in another article currently available on this Website. Where are you going to turn for the truth?
I have made not one penny off our Partners-in-Prayer Website. I have nothing to lose or to gain by what I say, accept the approbation of Christ our Lord. It is our prayer that you will continue to turn here for the truth.
